Learn to Swim
Lessons are for Members Children Only
Red Cross Swim Lessons
Registration Details
NEW FOR 2024, we guarantee 1 session per child.
When registering, please be confident in your commitment to lessons. We work hard to accommodate as many children as possible and if you sign up and do not attend, you are taking a slot that another child could have filled. Complete a separate registration form for EACH child when registering for swim lessons.
If you have registered your child for swim lessons and you need to cancel, please do so ASAP. If you cancel lessons any later than the Wednesday before they are set to begin, this will result in counting as one of your two guaranteed sessions of lessons per child per season.
If your child is currently taking lessons, the Pool Programs Chairs will confirm with the instructors whether he/she will move up before their placement for the next session. Select your child(ren)'s current level when you register.
Complete a separate registration form for EACH session. The form will be available as the date for each session approaches - keep an eye out on the weekly News You Can Use emails.
Reference the skills for each level below before registering.
You will be contacted via email with lesson time by the Saturday before your lesson starts.
Registrations are time and date stamped. A wait list for the following session will be formed if needed.
Parents and guardians/babysitters of those swimmers under the age of 12 are required to stay in the pool area during swim lessons.
Children must be at least 3 years old and members to participate.
